Ok so here is my dilemma. I have a Rockford Power 600-4 which does close to 400 watts per side bridged. I recently purchased a set of three way crossovers from a JL audio XR set as well as some JBL c608GTIMKii 6.5's. I was planning on using the three way crossover and bridging the amp to the JBL 's. My problem is that I need a set of 5.25 mids and tweets that can handle that kind of power. I will be setting my gains with an oscope so the power will be clean. Any recommendations? I also have a old school earthquake P500.1 that I could use to run the tweets active with 125 watts or so per side, maybe less since most tweets seem to be 8 ohms. I prefer the simplicity of the 3 way passive Xo though. Thoughts? Suggestions? Am I dumb to run that much power to some 6.5/5.25 and tweets?
