I got LLP in order to put on the outer door skins. I wanted it to help obsorb the waves behind the speaker and help outborne sound more in the doors. Unfortunately, I didn't comprehend how thick it really was and don't think I can fit it there. So, my dilema is how to best use it now. Is it worth trying to put it on the inner door skin and apply a small amount right behind the speaker, or apply it just to the cieling, or to use it just on the floor? I have heard the floor does not emmit as much sound as the cieling. Is there any truth to that? Sorry for the run on questions whew haha.

If it's too thick for the door, use it for the roof over some deadener. It will be worth it. Buy some cheap ensolite from RAMMAudio which is 1/8th inch thick and it should work. I did ensolite for my doors specifically because I was worried about thickness. The ensolite works VERY well for me to reduce external noise.

thanks for the help. I think I will put it on the cieling and whats left over Ill either put what I can for the inner door skin or floor. and get the ensolite for the outer door skin. It's good to hear the cheaper ensolite works. I wasn't sure because it seems so thin.
