I need a list of head units & cd-changers that are easily accessible new or used that have digital coax outputs.

Just got a Nakamichi DAC that only accepts coax, not toslink.

Can be high end or low end, new school or old school....whatever comes to mind.

FWIW, you can buy a coax to optical adapter.

you'll have to figure out how to use the adapter, or not. might be as simple as stripping the wire and tapping into a 12v line.

You've already got a Nak DAC, you could match that with a Nak CD700... one of the finer head units ever made and it has the coax output you need.

I'm just disappointed that Alpine's DVI-9990 doesn't have it....I believe the Japanese 7990 has it. Don't know about the US version.

yes, the 7990j has it. Might even want to ask Tristan about that. I believe he mentioned something about it being a male BNC connector which can easily be adapted to coaxial.
