Thats my build thread, and am trying to decide whether to go with one big piece of mdf for two amps and a hole to drop my sub in or

use my sub ring, glass a box up against one side and then glass two mdf boards on the opposite side and connect them to the glass sub box using what else, more glass and try to utilize my stock center hold-down...

I cast the shape of the wheel well with glass and came up to connect that to the sides of the box, which were birch. I dropped 10% acetone into the resin to help the wood better absorb the resin. Then the resin soaked into the wood acts as a bonder to mechanically connect the wheel well to. It took.....probably could have used more maybe, but I put about 7-8 gallons of resin in the wheel well side of the build. It was an 8.5 cubic foot box though!

Use MDF/ on big flat areas, fiberglass on curvy parts... a lot quicker and cheaper...
