Hello all, i am a small shop owner on the north side of Phoenix, Bell Road and 28th Street. Heard about this forum from one of our recent customers.
Glad to help out if we can, we do a little bit of everything.

We are more of a custom shop, lighting, HID, Audio, Alarms, performance etc..., work on cars trucks, boats, utv/atv, motorcycles, yeah pretty much everything.
We are not strictly high end but doing this for a living not a hobby so have to make money (not the cheapest, dont price match etc... especially online pricing, sorry cant do it no point in bothering if we make nothing!)

Quality is really or goal, in both products we sell and especially installations we perform. Again not necessarily high end, but we dont sell junk, and wont cut a corner to do low quality install so its cheaper so dont ask.

If you want a new radio, 4 speakers, amps, and subs its not going to be done in a day, We dont have 8 guys like the tv shows that work 22 hours a day to get it done (I wouldn't want to rush any job like i know they have to)

We have been open now for 3 years and are trying to grow our client base based on quality, and not selling a thousand pieces making a dollar a piece. Again if we can help please come in or contact us, we will do whatever we can to help.
Audio equipment wise we have an RTA, a Term-Lab, and Multimeter, no scope in the bay as of yet.

If you have specifics you want to know about our shop or me, ask, as long as its realistic, and i can answer i will.
Thanks, hope to meet some of you from the Phoenix area someday!

Refreshing to hear shop owners that really care. I use a local in Austin tint shop and they only do top quality, aren't cheap, and have a 1-2 week lead time to get an appointment.

Good luck, hope to hear some of your insights into the 12v world.

have you ever thought of just charging just enough to make at least a few bucks in profit if someone wants to price match? yeah you might not make any money, but you arent losing any. plus thats one more secured future customer.

Yes, we tried a few times when we fist opened on a few train horn/compressor, and audio deals, and a few days later before we had more in stock we lost profitable sales because we were out of stock.

I guess i wont say we NEVER do, but only if we have a bunch in stock (which we dont usually stock a bunch of anything since we are smaller shop), OR if someone wants to order it so we dont take it from in stock merchandise and wait for it to come in (price match the price and availability), or lastly take a display piece.

We do our best to secure future customers through offering superior service and quality, for example when warranty issues come up, whenever possible we swap product for our customers, and when that is not possible, we arrange to ship it off for warranty, and take care of dealing with manufacturer on it etc... so the customer does not have to.
