I signed quite a while ago, but didnt realise how useful the info has been looking at the topics throughout the site. Anyways, heres a little about me:

Im into old school SQ and 15+ years ago had a nice set of orginal MB Quarts, an original Pheonix Gold Route 66 and a pair of a/d/s S10s. Unfortunately today, all of these companies have been over run with production and sales numbers at the expense of SQ

Keen to start my system up and have some Polk SRs, a Naka CD300 and some Boston GT amps to start with.

thanks guys, fires were well away from me, but had friends that were affected. thanks for the thoughts.

on a much lighter note, im now motivated to build up an el cheapo system in my daily driver.

picked up a nice lightly used 12" VDO (Peerless XLS) for less than $55 usd last night, which will go in a cheapo prefabed box and picked up a set of brand new morel temp 6" coaxs for $90. Even better is the fact that it was from an authorized dealer!

how did u manage to get the stuff? u must tell me where and how i can acquire this stuff .
i picked up an orion sx275 for $220inc postage which was wickid!

I also picked up a Pioneer DEH-P880PRS with time alignment for $240 inc postage. Love the 2nd hand market at the moment!
