Hey everyone, I know we have a few people that have been playing this game for a while and i need some help. Earthquake PA-4020C.... if u have any info about this amp it would be helpful. I believe its under rated at 20x4 @ 4ohms. I see the on board knob eq, not too sure about. I also see the front and rear channels have high/full/low pass switches, but there is only 1 frequency knob.... 50-5000hz I believe.

I found a forum discussing a similar model which led me to believe you could set fronts to high pass and rears to low pass, adjust the frequency, and basically run an active 2way. Is this accurate?

The amp is in descent condition and i considered picking it up for the wifeys mid/tweet pillars im in the process of. For the $25 I can pick it up for I am going to grab it regardless but I would appreciate any info anyone may have.

Thats great, thanks for digging that out. Looks like its going to be a fun amp to play with. Nice THD & S/N, descent xover options, more rms than expected. This should work out nicely. Last night I read a few different forums where people seemed to be very happy with the overall quality of this model from Earthquake.

$405 msrp for 40x4 and that was probably inexpensive compared to ppi, phoenix gold, fosgate, etc. Most people today would probably think twice about this hobby if power still cost what it did then, not all but most.
