Have you found any problem regarding SQ of woofers or midranges when their frequency response on-axis and off-axis has peak differences? For instance, in the file attached you can see those differences in a Focal woofer. I theorize that the on-axis response of the speaker may bounce within the cabin, interfering with the overall response, even if you are running a DSP.
