Hey guys Got me my new Jeep the other day, So today I wanted to Hook up my Pioneer NEX. So story short, both are 06 WK Jeep Grand Cherokees, One is a Fully Loaded V6 and the other is a 06 WK Overland Ed. Hemi V8.
Now the Hemi had Navigation Double din, while the V6 had a Single din CD radio. I had gotten the PAC Audio C2RCHY4 Interface off the bay used. I then saw when received had gotten the wrong pigtail for my Truck. I got the Nav Pigtail and not the Regular. SO what I did was I made my own, I re wired it and I got the Radio working flawless.
So then Today I took the radio out, I wired it up Like It should Have been. Radio Turned on, But NO Sound. Hmmmmmmm... I sat for about 1 hour trying different thangs, still with the same outcome. NO Sound.Went Online, looked how others wired up, and Pretty much had it the same.
Now I wired it the way I had the V6 in the V8 and No sound.
Wired it how I thought it is suppose to go and still No sound.
tried the bare minimum wired up, and still No sound.
Both Trucks have the BA Premium Sound System, with Pre Amp.
One has Navigation Double Din Stock
One has Single Din CD Player
Installing:
-- Pioneer NEX4100 Deck
-- C2RCHY4 Radio Replacement
-- SWI-P Steering Wheel Control Inf
When I have all wired up, I have DMM out and testing each to make sure Voltage is correct. Only Concern I have is on the CANBUS +/- sides. Im getting 4.5V and .5V on them. I should have 12V there and I am not sure why. Same Voltage at the Amp PigTails.
All fuses Checked, and are good. all wiring is good and twisted together with shrink tubing. No other Additions to the sound system. The Sound System has 2 Front Door Speakers, 2 Rear Door speakers and 2 Dashboard Speakers.
Thanks guys in advance, I will also post a Pic of a little Wiring diagram I also followed to help when I couldnt figure out what wire went where to double check myself. Let me know what you guys think, the issue is.
My last consumption is that the Interface itself is no good, or my Pigtail harness is no good.
