The b&c is a high power subwoofer correct ? If I read right I takes 2000 rms to drive it.

High power means it can handle lots of power not that you necessarily need alot of power to drive it. To compare how loud two different subs will be you need to put them in a box modeling program and compare them at 1 watt and at max spl. Hope this helps.
