I’m busting out my good ole mobile pre and XLR mic to analyze some phase issues I’m having. I using the factory headunit and realized I have no aux input. Can I run the output from the mobile pre (soundcard) directly into my amp or will this cause issues? Thanks!

Yes, that’s fine… but go into the dsp first, if you don’t have dsp and a factory hu I don’t see how your going to correct much of anything?

I’m running a JL VXI amp so the amp is the DSP. My only concern is that I go from stock headunit to fix82 and then to amps. I’m not sure if this will matter.

Shouldn’t be an issue, id go straight into the vxi 👍🏼 That would be the logical place, I run digital to my dsp ultra, but go into the preouts for timing measurements
