I currently have a pioneer 9300sd BUT i am looking at the Alpine CDA-117Ri
as no matter what i do to my current setup it just dont have the sound quality i would expect from current setup.

Listed is what i have:

fronts hertz hi energy 165xl components tweeters have been pro mounted for sound stage
rears hertz 6x9s
Hertz he4 amp running fronts and rears professionally tuned
jbl gto 2 channel bridged into jbl 1200bl 12" sub
stinger earth cable
connection 4 gauge power spilt into connection 8 gauge for amp power
auddison speaker cable
auddison fuse block
battery earthed to chassis also amps
skinz door system kit and dynamat on front doors


I have tried bridging the hertz he4 today and removing the rears off the amp but its not made a great improvement.

Cheers for any input. i guess i wanna know if the Alpine produces etter sound than the current Pioneer i have.......................

In basic words .....Quality

I like my songs resonably loud and i went and purchased all songs on cd ( to give the cleanest signal) but most of them lose quality when i turn them up and i have to reduce the volume again to hear them with quality. So just being able to hear the music i want with out having to listen to them at a low volume if that makes sense..
