This is an enclosed piston powered subwoofer that wasn't released in the U.S. market, and is very unique. It actually sounds nice, and is pretty darn accurate.

That is awesome. Gotta love those unusual foreign market goodies. Is it JDM? I wish shipping to Canada wasn't so ridiculous :^( Not to mention the current dollar.
It was indeed made in Japan, but my friend that I obtained it from told me this unit came from New Zealand!

I'm sure it wouldn't be that bad, I'm fairly close to Canada ;)

We have sold those too!! lol In the Netherlands...

Neat piece. I often wonder why non-North American markets got items that we did not. I presume that we have the largest consumer electronics market but maybe not? Or they test them out in other markets before bringing them here?

It kind of reminds me of the Alpine LAT system, that never really caught on either.
