Can someone please tell me about the 17cm woofer in the Pioneer 2-way system TS-C171PRS ?

Is it exactly the same as the separately sold woofer TS-M171PRS? (notice the C and M)

When did it appear in the market and how does it compare with newer PRS models... is it obsolete by now? What is it worth?

FWIW, looks and described a lot like the well-regarded US TS-C720PRS mid-woofer from a few years ago. The PRS line is discontinued in the US.
