When the site changed its format (back in 2019); we removed the limitations on Posting in the Classified Section. In doing so, we also saw an increase in; scam posts, illegitimate sellers, and people opening an account with the only intention of using DIYMA as a means to sell their gear - and then they never came back.

This site is intended to foster a forum community of car audio fanatics, and part of being a community is that you get involved / share ideas. Opening an account, simply for the sake of selling your old speakers, does not qualify as 'getting involved'...

So, we have updated the rules for our Classified / Marketplace forum:

1. You must have a 10 post minimum, in order to qualify for selling in the Classified Section.
2. You must be a member of DIYMA for a minimum of 10 Days, in order to qualify for selling in the Classified Section.

This is not 'one or the other'. You must qualify for both in order to list an item in the Classified Section.

I'm sure this will not be an issue for legitimate members of DIYMA. The intent is to protect our community.

DIYMA HAS A STANDARD FORMAT THAT WE USE FOR POSTING CLASSIFIED ADS.
Please use this format, to help you (the Seller) and the Buyer have a clear understanding of what is being offered or wanted.

PICTURES: (these are NECESSARY - especially close-up pictures of any flaws or defects
ALSO: You must include a picture showing your screen name & date on a piece of paper / or sticky note)
