I got a power acoustic RZR-2500d and when it heats up it goes into protect mode... so if I turn it down to the level of amp staing cool enough, it won't shut down. I've recleaned the ground even moved it ground still did does it.. I just got a 12 inch kicker comp SVC 4ohm sub... need help diagnose the problem

Not your ground, not your amps issue. It's your issue, your asking too much of it. Probly driving it In to clipping and causing a bunch of heat build up. I say keep the amp gains where the amp is comfortable at. If you want more power I'd go with a more powerful and reliable amp. You'll end up damaging it and have to replace anyways.
Not to discourage you, but that amp is rated 450w @4ohm and most likely does not do rated power. Power Acoustik is also not known to be the most reliable.
