installing a powered sub for the first time, Sound Ordnance B-8PTD.
in a 2020 ram 1500 bighorn.
12v coming in good.
used a spare long rca cable i had to run from the high power inputs on the sub to a iDatalink bCH3 anc bypass harness.
i wired the the white\white black stripe and grey\grey black strike.
it will not turn on.
is the rca cable gauge not appropriate?

Normally high level signals get sent with speaker cable, low level with rca… but because it’s going to be low current you will still get signal

have you tried putting power to the remote terminal and see if it switches on, jump it from the power terminal from the battery and test if it comes on

You will probably find it doesn’t have auto turn on

thanks dumdum....it has a switch to choose auto turn on or remote wire...i spoke to customer support at crutchfield (the sub is their in house brand) and he suggested just going the remote wire route as he wasn't confident in their auto turn on system.
i did as you suggested and ran power from battery to remote terminal and it did turn on....if i go with remote wire setup, do i need to switch to low level signal ?
