I mean "mod" easily. My Lincoln couldnt fit 8's because of depth issues and the electronics got in the way.
sound proofing no problem on either car, the elantra's doors are very shallow your gonna have to make spacers to keep the window from hitting the speaker magnet, on the tacoma if you remove the hard plastic from behind the back of the seats, you could fit 3-10"jl w1's it sounds very clean and you have space under either seat for the amps
