Is grille cloth truly acoustically transparent? If so would it still be transparent with 2 layers? The reason I want to use 2 layers is because I am installing focal krx3 midrange and tweets in my A-Pillars and the yellow cones are still visible through one layer of grille cloth. I want the install to look as stealth as possible and I do not want the cones visible to thieves. I am planning on attaching one solid piece of grille cloth to the entire A-Pillar with velcro and mounting the speakers mounted under the cloth. Can anybody recommend a high quality grille cloth that stretches good in all directions?

Thanks

I wouldnt do the grill cloth thing. yes a single layer is not going to effect much, but you start adding layers and you will start limiting the high freq output of the tweeters.

you bought yellow speakers, live with it :D

How about head liner material. It's used on pillars but dunno if its acoustically transparent in the high frequencies. Seems like it would hide the cone more than real grill cloth, would also look nicer as well.
