My Jl c3's have died on me due to amp clipping, and I need to purchase a replacement. The c3's were my favorite set I have owned. I favored them a bit more than the c5's. I have been looking into another set and the re audio xxx component set looks darn good. My budget is $300 max. I can get all 3 for around the same price. I really like the soft laid back sound of the c3/c5. I can't stand a harsh or bright tweeter, and I love a strong midbass presence. with that being said, do y'all think the re audio xxx will work well with my taste? any other suggestions in this price range with those sonic characteristics?
