I don't know anything about the RE but the W12gti is an amazing sub. I do think 1.75 will be small for a ported box though. 2 W12s sealed with 1.7 each should sound pretty damn good.

What's up fellas. I have a pair of re sx 12s in my car There the newer ones but not the v2s. I found a good deal on some jbl gti w12s Do you guys think I should replace them? I'm happy with the res but I've never heard the jbls. I would be using my same box witch is about 1.75cbf per sub tuned to about 38-40hz. Being pushed by an rf t2000.1bd. Will the jbls get louder? Hit harder then the res?
