Anyone ever replace parts on a amp before. I found a older Kole amp in my storage. It has a couple blown caps. Figured I ight try fixing them. Have a little soldering exp. but not a lot. Would this be a fairly easy fix. Figured I might replace all 5 even though only 2 are blown. Thanks for any help

Here's the link: Basic Car Audio Electronics

Just remember, its easy to damage a circuit board with too much heat from your iron!
I've seen people damage them with too little heat too. Remember the case of the missing solder pads? My electrical engineering buddy said the solder pads were missing because the iron used was not hot enough! Further more, he stated whoever dinked with my amplifier pulled before the solder was completely melted resulting in the solder pads coming with the capacitors.

That BCAE amplifier repair tutorial is worth every penny!

It's also easy to damage the insulators between the heatsink and transistors, IF YOU DAMAGE IT REPLACE IT, don't think you can fudge it.

Sometimes taking car amps apart can be a real cocksucker.
