I currently have the RK6 and am having a rough time getting away from the "brightness" of the tweeters. Those things play loud, the miss sound great but the highs almost ruin it. I am considering changing the RK6 out for a set of the HAT Imagines....anyone heard both and can make a comparison? Any advice? Thanks fellas!!!!

The HAT imagine tweeters may also sound too loud. They were designed to coaxial use. If you use them in component mode, you may have to play with tweeter placement. Based on everything I heard, the Imagines tweeters may work better off axis. There is no tweeter attenuation. Or perhaps, you could buy the new HAT Unity (imagine woofer with clarus tweeter and crossover). They're a lot more expensive, but they were designed to sound good in component mode and there is -3db tweeter option.

Another interesting speaker is Massive Audio CK6V. Supposedly, it was redesigned recently to tame the tweeter more.
