Hi,

I am building a subwoofer enclosure. I have a handheld held router that I am comfortable using on wood. Used it several times on the MDF portions of my subwoofer enclosure. I have a 2'x4' ABS panel that will conceal the wiring. I'd like to round the edges of the ABS using my hand held router. Before I give it some practice runs, has anyone used a hand held router to round edges of ABS sheet with easy success? Tips, Suggestions appreciated.

Roundover bit with bearing. Start with light cuts till you get comfortable. Work your way down and the last pass should be barely cutting. Slow and steady.

Most plastics can "grab", so don't get caught off guard.

I prefer to work plastics on the router table with push plates.
