I have a clarion cz702 HU and will be installing 2 6.5 silver flutes and 2 LPG tweets running off a PPi 900.4 for my front stage. I have never ran an active setup. I understand the general idea of setting the crossover points and slopes and what-not but im not too confident with it.

Any body have any experience with any of this equipment. I know silver flutes are pretty popular so what is the normal crossover points/slopes you guys use for them? and the tweets?

I want them to get loud so im probably going to set the LPF pretty high on the mids to make it easier on them

It really depends on how low the tweeter can play without issues, the good thing is, those mid woofers, can play close if not above 3khz, not many tweeters can play below 2500 Hz. The tweeter low point would be the key to try the mid bass upper point.

Also with the CZ702 deck, you can expect great sound, I like the HP and LP on the sub, good if you have a ported sub and an amp without a subsonic filter.

One thing, do not expect an spectacular centered stage due to the limitation of the EQ bands available.
