I was looking to use the W18 for midbass. If I plan on crossing over my midbass no lower than 40-50 Hz, would there be any reason to go with the larger W22? (assuming that the install was possible both ways)

is this a dedicated midbass..? or an midbass/midrange setup..?

IMO, the W18 play low enough with enough output to meet your criteria and anyone elses (unless theyve gone nearly deaf already).

but if you feel the need that you need overwhelming lowend extension, that your doors will not handle (rattle and resonate like crazy) in the end, its your final decision.
