Getting everything together so I won't have as many questions when I install. I've read and figured out how to set gains using a multimeter and that seems pretty simple. Crossovers on the other hand I could use some help to get in the general ballpark. Also, there will be times when sub isn't in car, so I'd like the speakers set to pick up some of the bass duties.

The HU I'm using ( Pioneer 5700BHS ) has 3 sets of 4v out, speakers and subs if that makes a difference. I will be running this passive.

Alpine Type R 12" sub ( sealed box, I like tight bass, also limited room )
24-200 Hz

JBL MS-62c Component
60-20000 Hz

JBL 662 Coaxial
45-23000 Hz

So what would be some good starting points for LPF and HPF. I listen to varying kinds of music, no hip hop though.

Thanks

low pass the sub at 80, and high pass the MS-62c at 80.

can you band bass the rear speakers? If so Hi pass them at 250, and low pass them at 6000.

Clear over my head on the second sentence mini. I have no clue what that means. Forgot to add, where should I set the 62c tweeter crossover. Off to read band pass now.

If your asking whether is lets me set two separate ranges, I only see one dial for each channel on the amp and it goes from 20 Hz to 4.5 KHz

Bandpass just means a HPF and LPF on the same channel.

then just set the HP on the rear speakers to like 250 or so, and i would assume they will roll off naturally about 10k. You just want to always try and take the low bass, and the vocals out of rear speakers. So they fill in the music and dont draw your attention to them.

as for the tweeter crossover, i am not sure what options you have...but i would start with setting the level to -3db to start.

Looking at a picture of the crossovers ( still waiting on them ), I see the following

Tweeter Level

0 db
-3 db
-6 db

and something that says tweeter phase
