I'm moving, don't need a car, but want to save my Pioneer TS-C720PRS speakers.

So my question is, can I build a ported enclosure that will simulate the environment of a deadened car door?

From the bit of research I did, it seems that two 1.5ft^3 ported boxes might do the job...any one agree?

Thanks

They are the same as any other speakers. They have Thiele/Small parameters:

Run the numbers in a box program to get the results you are after. Pioneer actually used the home audio approach when the PRS drivers were first introduces to the press

Here is a guy that had the same idea and put his previous gen PRS speakers in enclosures: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/diy-home-pro-audio/113000-my-diy-project-my-prs-compo.html
