Hey everyone.

So I have recently changed my home to a smart home, with alexa. I want to get the echo auto for my truck. But it needs to come through your car speakers and I don't want that. It has an aux output, but I don't want to have to turn on a portable speaker every time. So I'm looking at some 3 inch full range speakers that I could flush mount just one in the headliner. It will only be for her voice to come through. But I'm assuming I cannot just get a 3.5mm to speaker wire cable and plug it in? Do I need some kind of mini amp to run the speaker.9

I would like some mini amp that can go behind the dash out of sight if I do need an amp.

Thx for your input, this is definitely not in my wheel house of knowledge.
