Hello guys

Is a long time since I last wrote on the forum

I need some advice to build a ported enclosure for a 10" subwoofer.

I wanted to ask if he could create problems mount the subwoofer in the position of the drawing.

THe subwoofer can sound bad in that position ? Or i do not notice any difference compared to classic ported box displacement ?

Thank you guys for any help.

I have used a similar design where I had 2 12's firing towards rear of car and 4 inch aeroports firing through the 6 x 9 holes in the rear deck of a trunk car. I had or have no way to test anything other than my ear holes, but I was quite happy with how it worked in that car.

box building is so addictive, everytime I bulid one I get better and better, with new ideas and such I love this hobby/addiction! Also helps me practice wood working skills for around the house, already led to my front porch, and a work bench.

I have seen/heard issues with phase and cancellation when your port and subwoofer are on different planes. Not saying it wont work for your application, but as a general rule, it is best to have your port and sub on the same plane.

Thank you.

This will be a test if sounds well for my ears i will keep it.

If not, i can do another one.

But it is better if i not have to do another one. :mean:
