I had the same issues. Turns out I had to ignore the message that pops up asking me to give tidal access to the smsl pro. I just tap anywhere else and it works. Before it would work until the file format of the song changed from flac to mqa and then I had to keep disconnecting and connecting again.

No improvement. I also noticed that the resolution indicator light on the po100 pro doesn't change as expected.

@Eurobound do you have any problems playing mqa or 24/96+ flac from tidal? What source device and which DSP do you use?

I have Samsung S23 Ultra. I had issues where it would stop but never sound quality issues. Works with whatever highest quality I have downloaded onto my phone. I stream once in a while but find it a bit more reliable when I play downloaded content. I'm running usb c from the phone obviously and then coax to Helix DSP Ultra.

Just an FYI - I tried the Douk Audio U2 XMOS XU208 Digital Interface and couldn't get rid of the crackling sound that came out of the tweeters and so I returned it. Seems like some setups are just incompatible for whatever reason.

The only other thing I noticed past couple days is I make sure Tidal is playing before I connect the usb cable. It's not a great workaround but seems to work. When I connect, the do you want to all ow Tidal access to your phone message pops up and I just hit anywhere else on my screen. And sometimes I have to hit play again on Tidal. Doesn't seem to like it if I connect and then hit play. I'm not sure at this point if it's also a DSP settings issue. I don't have time right now to figure it out so I've been using this workaround. Don't have issue playing any flac or mqa files this way.

Strange about the low volume issue. I have S23 Ultra and used it with po100 pro without issue in that respect. I had issues with usb-c input because my stuff is in the centre console and moves about and I kept losing the connection. I have some crackling though and it's my RCA to helix ultra DSP coax input connection. For some reason it just doesn't want to stay on well and wiggles lose every once in a while and crackles when it comes lose and I hit any bump. Check your coax connection to DSP for sure.
