Hi there,

In this thread I want to show you the build-up of my install. It's not entirely completed, so updates will come!

My trunk is very small, so it was hard to put 4 amps, 1 sub, 2 capacitors, 1 extra battery and an Symmetry EPX2 in it. It's a basic install, nothing fancy.

Below the subwoofer enclosure lies a second Banner "Running Bull "battery. But those pictures are missing :-(

The kick-off...

The enclosure for the RFR2212 Power DVC, I'm still searching for a couple older subs, but i can't find them...

On the left: Punch 200ix DSM - On the right 160x4(just for show)

Notice the purple oldschool "Gamma Geometry" speakerwire

Three times an RCA wire and a balanced cable

I love the speaker wire. I had a ton of that run in my Integra when Ixos 1st released that wire.
I still have some laying around and some RCAs from the same wire. Good Stuff

Nice gear. I am now so tempted to dust off my old 60ix and 40I dsm amps for an install. Can't wait to read your report on how it sounds!

The install is nice but.....DAMN.....that stack of Festool tools is impressive!!!!

Is the sub baffle 2 layers of MDF with a layer of plywood in the middle?

Thanx for the comments guys! Between the 2 layers MDF is a layer Meranti Multiplex. I'm not sure how its named in english... By mixing up different materials, the enclosure doesn't resonate at all.

@ FlyonWall: Thanx man!

@ Glassman: Thanx, thats not everyting in the picture. Got more :)

@ NucFusion: Do it already! You probably know they sound great:D After I fixed my doorpanels I will tell you how it sounds...

@ Shawnk: Thanx mate:cool:

@ bkjay: I'm glad i did!:p

@ Nomed: Me too:laugh:

Greetings,

Berrie
