ok so i have a soundstream 1200d sub amp , and its in protect mode. I checked all my fuses etc and now have a new battery , i checked for signal and everything is fine power wise to the amp . i tried disconnecting my sub and still its in protect mode , so i took the top off the the amp to see the inside to look for anything burnt out m no visible damage or smell etc.. the amp has no fuses outside the amp , i had heard before that the fuses are inside ??! i cant find them is there something i am missing i wonder.??
heres how i messed everything up - i ruined an optima yellow top battery , the negative side i kinda broke and it lasted some months and any way i re-did it beautifully and it works fine , but back to the moment when it was all messed up i had to jump my car wich took forever and was not working , i had to keep jerking the negative terminal back and forth and finally got it , i know i shud not have done that , but i needed my car to work ! so ever since then , no sub
can anyone please shed some light on this for me ? i read all i can for trouble shooting this and im sure i fried my amp , but at the same time it just looks so perfectly fine im also convinced it is !
