I am looking for a source with digital output (optical better than coaxial) to connect to the Audison Bit One processor and save some money if possible, LOL.

At the moment there are several possibilities

PIONEER AVH-P3100DVD
ALPINE DVA-9965R
ALPINE IVA-W202R
JVC KD_AVX11

In other line we can connect devices that need an external display to control it like the Network media tank popcornhour a-110.

Other solution will be connect a portable media player like the iRiver ihp-120 that has optical output but seems to be unique in their specie.

Honestly me and my friends prefeer connect a cd unit (better if cheap) to the Audison Bit One. It's all.

Look at inexpensive DVD players if you really want to save money. They are not exactly DIN size and lack an AM/FM tuner, but many of them have Toslink outputs.

I saw the CD8053 mentioned in that thread. Most of the higher end Eclipse 5 and 8 volt decks have the E-com digital out. Going from memory some of the single DIN decks with E-com out are: 55040, 55060, CD8051, CD8052, CD8061, CD8062, CD8053, CD8443, CD8454, CD8445.

You guys also missed the Eclipse 55090 copper chassis CD/DVD deck. It has a optical out and E-com digital out.
