Space 8's sealed or not

I was looking for some suggestions on speaker mounting. I'm working on a 70 Chevelle and making my own interior panels but I've reached a part where I need some advice. I would like to use a hertz space 8 in my door and the design of the panel would allow me to install it sealed. The other option would be to just put a grill in the door panel and mount the 8 in the door. The end goal is to have a space 8 in the door as a dedicated midbass a space 6 and tweet in the kick. Here is a picture of the panel. The area I,m talking about is just below the armrest. The finished panel will be all glass, no mdf.Thanks
