just had one of my focal mid's catch fire, it might have been water that caused it, when i get my new one, i want to use a baffle,, but i was thinking about drilling tons of tiny holes in the back of the baffle so i still get my midbass with the air getting to the speaker,,, i dont want to cut the back off compleletly,,,, any suggestions???? focal k2p upgraded version , i noticed the mdf plate they are on is stained in water and was slightly damp, ,, im super scared to use a baffle though from what i hear it makes the speaker sound like crap even if you do cut the bottom off.
