I have tried 3 different 6.5 mids bass for my doors, audison voce, soundquebed, and JBL... All with a 95-98 sensitivity level capable of 90 watts RMS... Tried active and passive. None of them are loud enough.

Do I need larger amps or more speakers?

Head Unit is Kenwood Exceleron with 3 5v RCA outs.
16 awg truespec wiring, 14.4 volts, 160 AMP alt and 2 kinetic 1800 batteries.
Current amps are soundquebed 90.4 and SQ 1200 mono at 1 Ohm

How do I get a louder front stage?

If you are looking for that dynamic punch you may want to try and fit an 8in in the door. Was the Soundquebed driver the PA or the one out of their component set?

Yeah you wan't more xmax for sure the PA soundquebed ones have next to nothing. If you are wanting to do PA PM to try the Skar PAX 8" in a 4 ohm version also sundown has the original version of this mid as well. Next a dedicated mid bass would be your best bet like a JL ZR800 or something similar maybe an anarchy or talk to Mark Kravchenko about is 8" mid as long as you can fit somthing that is 4" deep that is.
