I wonder how well it sticks to plastic? Might be useful on say the giant all plastic window regulators like in my vehicle. Way too many recesses and ribs to put regular CLD on.

 

DEI has had this for a while, I remember Stinger or someone had one WAAAAYYY back in the 1900's as my kids say.

I feel like they're using a very loose definition of damping. What they really mean is vibration decoupling

Back in the 90s Rockford Fosgate had two canned damping materials (Yellow and Blue) - Noisekiller.
Cactus sounds had damping paste
Brax had eXVibration Paste

Last two materials stick to plastics / wood/ metal without problems

 

Wait for Resonix to rebrand one of these sprays, then it will be the best thing ever.
