What the hell do those initials mean? I can't find anything anywhere online and it's driving me crazy.
Super Boom Box 4th order , and quasi-butterworth 3rd order. Both are so-called "maximally-flat" alignments (flat passband), with the QB3 having the advantage of a smaller box size and shallower rolloff.

You can basically ignore them for car audio subwoofer design. Both alignments don't take cabin gain into consideration, so whatever frequency response is predicted by the design program isn't worth squat unless it also allows you to model cabin gain.
