Hi Guys.
I am almost set to get a Stereo Integrity MAG V4 D2.
I wanted to know if there is any sub which does equally good SQ and is priced in a similar range and not heavier than the Mag.

XBL^2 would be preffered too. :)

Actually i won't be buying this .
It would be a gift from a cousin of mine but still he can at max spend $250.

The Mag is shallower and about half the weight of the DIYMA (which is one of the requirements), so that's out.

Compared to the IDQ, the Mag is more linear in every respect and handles more power (if you need it to). But out of the two listed above the IDQ is the better of them based on just weight and depth.

Use a Funkypup, they rock!!!

OR perhaps just use the damn search function instead of asking the same question that everyone else does, read a bit, educate yourself and make your own decision instead of starting another useless sub thread. Have a nice day

Thanks Guys.
I started the thread so i could ask about stuff with my current amps.

Will 360w be enough for the SI?
Or should i get 2 SI and give 300 to each?

I'd prefer a 12 inch sub to a 10 inch one.

360 watts will be more than enough for the Mag v4. The v4 is simply rated at 1000 watts because that is its absolute maximum RMS power handling ability in 1 ft^3 sealed. It is very efficient and makes good use off of any amount of power. However, two Mag's with 300 watts each will yield a ~6 dB increase over one with Mag with 360 watts.

How much dB should i expect with the 360w @ 4 ohms.

Also If i add 2 subs, they will be combined played at 2 ohms.
So will the bass quality be same?

Sound quality will remain the same irregardless of the amount of power. Loudness/output, on the other hand will change.
