So I just hooked up two eD SQ10 subs wired in parallel to the sub channel on a brand new Jensen KA5 5ch amp. They're running off the sub out on the Pioneer DEHP-6700MP HU that came with the truck when I bought it. This is the first time I've tried running RCA's off the deck. So the speakers start popping left-right-left-right-left-right, kind of like a push-pull pattern, the way they do when you hook up a 9v battery to determine polarity until I turn off the input on the amp. toggle it back to that input and it does it again left-right-left-right etc. I turn off the HU and try it again and nothing. No sound. I plug in my cell phone mp3 player directly to the amp, toggle it back to the on position and music plays with pretty good bass. Looks like the HU is bad, but I'm just curious about what's going on here. Can anyone explain this phenomenon?
