I started toying with the idea of mounting 6.5" midbasses in my coupe rear deck lid instead of in the rear panels (very shallow) and wondered if the Tangs could handle say 80-250Hz in an IB setup with ~70W or so?

IB "tolerable" 6.5's and 8's I'm also interested in.. Got two 6.5 bays and an 8" bay in my 08 Si rear deck. For suggestions in the diy raw driver mix.. throwing one in the hat..

How about the dayton RS225?
Power handling: 80 watts RMS/120 watts max * VCdia: 1.5" * Le: .56 mH * Impedance: 4 ohms * Re: 2.9 ohms * Frequency range: 35-2,000 Hz * Fs: 38 Hz * SPL: 92 dB 2.83V/1m, 89 dB 1W/1m * Vas: 1.33 cu. ft. * Qms: 2.39 * Qes: .56 * Qts: .46 * Xmax: 6mm *Dimensions: A: 8-3/4", B: 7-3/8", C: 3-1/2".

If silly.. sorry.. I wouldn't know a good performing driver in IB setup if it bit me, but would like to.

eD e3.6? Maybe the 6.5 Kickers? I could live with 50-200Hz. I may be able to box them down the road
