As the title says I'm thinking of going active. I've never done it before so I'm wondering what the crossover points would be for my morel maximo 6 tweeters and could I run my tweeters off of my head unit? And what would the crossover points be for the mids of the maximo 6? I'll be running a skar 5 channel amp and will run the mids on channel 1 and 2. Midbass on channel 3 and 4. And the sub on channel 5.

Start with the OEM xover points.

What are you using as a xover?

Iim using the crossover in my Kenwood ddx 396 headunit..

Good - my fear was that you were trying to use those infernal knobs on the amp. With 12dB xovers you'll need to experiment with flipping phase between each driver to get them aligned best.

The headunit also has 24 db per octave settings. Thanks for all your help.
