I’m trying to build a system for my 2008 Tacoma that’s SQL oriented that’s on a budget but not dirt cheap. I listen to everything so SQL is what I’m looking for. I currently have a head unit and would rather run class D amp or amps due to the efficiency. I need help picking.
Front Door Components
Matching rear full range speakers that are not components.
Class D amp/amps for highs and lows.
2 10” sub woofers
Possibly a DSP if the money is right.
I like to be under 3k for everything including building the sub box, door speaker adapters, wiring and sound dreading. The best bang for the buck equipment is ideal.

Snatch up some used amps/gear from classifieds
i have this in 2010 Taco, except 2 passive radiators along with subs. Best setup for SQL i have had by far. Don’t skimp on the DSP. The sony xm gs4 amps are out of stock but check sonix electronics for other open box deals

Under rear seats, removed storage bins, there’s some Tacoma builds on here if you search, and Tacoma world which you have probably already know about.
you can fit 8” speakers in the door, ditch the rear for now and spend money up front.
I recommend the cdsp with Dirac, cause it works great, I am not a good tuner, and its flippin hot in the truck aimlessly waving a mic around in S Florida.
