Hi all, I currently have the hertz hsk163 3 way setup and was thinking about trying to Bi amp them but I am unsure if it will work.

My amp is an alpine pdx4.100 which has 2 seperate crossovers capable of 400hz hi pass/lo pass.

My question was can I setup a bandpass on the midwoofer if I set the HU to hi pass at 60hz and the lowpass on the amp at 400hz. Would this allow the mid to play 60hz - 400hz?

That's correct, that's how it would normally be done with a setup like yours.
Thanks for the help. Now I just need to call Electromedia and find out if 60-400hz will leave a gap in my system. I am not really sure where the midbass drops off and the mid range picks up.

Do you have one for sale?
No, I'm using mine. But if you take a look at the manual, you'll see that it
could help do 3 way active by shipping out the other side of it's crossover
frequency. The new and cheaper srx's may do it too.
