I have not seen a software that will do it for you but I normally just play with the numbers until I get the desired curve. Not too peaky, good smooth roll off, decent amount of mid bass as well. I do this by adjusting the port as well as the box size depending on what i have available.

for me it is hard to explain because I just do it by instinct based on trial and error over the years.

Keep in mind - modeling this way will only get you to a starting point. Cabin gain is going to affect how the sub actually performs and sounds once in the car. Be prepared to tweak your box, location and tuning if needed.

Bass Box Pro will give you the option of High output,High Fidelity,Extended Bass or let you put in a desired F3.

^ That's not entirely true. A sub's fs is just its resonance in free air. The sub's resonance changes depending on the enclosure. The resonance will be higher than its fs once you put it in an enclosure. Great performing sealed enclosures can have resonances in the 40's or up to 50hz. And it is very common to tune vented boxes to below the sub's fs because the fs does not matter once it goes into an enclosure.

You can tune below Fs, in some alignments that's even recommended. The Fs DO matter when you put in an enclosure though. In a sealed box, Fs & Qt dictates the the low end response. Fsc will always be higher than the free air resonance (Fs) - yes.
