Keep in mind - modeling this way will only get you to a starting point. Cabin gain is going to affect how the sub actually performs and sounds once in the car. Be prepared to tweak your box, location and tuning if needed.
Tuning frequency for subs
If I use a subwoofer box modeling program to make a ported sub, how do you know what frequency to tune it to, or does most modeling software do that also?
