tweeter replacement

hello,
I am looking for a pair of tweeters to be placed on the kicks, I currently have seas excels lying on the floor pointing upwards, I think it will be a little hard to incorporate it to my current glass kicks because of it's size, I have one pair of seas lotus on the sails,
I'm decided on changing the seas on the floor, any suggestions for a good set of tweeters, not too expensive I hope,
I was hoping on the morels, they have a lot of models, any suggestions, I was thinking on another pair of seas lotus, but they seem too laid back when they would be on the kicks, I'd prefer something more aggressive.
what do you think?
or should I just stick with the excel tweeter and do what has to be done on the kicks, so I wouldnt have to spend some money anymore.

Imho, stick the Excel in the doors and put a pair of ribbons in the kicks

I already have seas lotus on the sails, the seas excels are just lying on the floors because its too big for the kicks, I could put them there but it would be big, as you know the excels looks like a teacup because of its size. You think I should get rid of it and get some ribbons? How would I incorporate to my system. Can it be just placed on the tweeter outputs from the crossover? thanks

need some suggestions,

I wanna try out those ribbons, can I just put them directly coming from the passive crossover as a replacement tweeter,

i'm a bit loss after reading your post.

you have the seas excel midbass or excel mel. twts in the kicks? WHat do you have in the doors? Or is it seas excel midbass on the floors and lotus twts in the sails? ahh i'm confused.

you could connect the ribbons to the passive xovers to replace whatever tweeters that are there now...Although the topend of the lcy is hard to beat... you wouldn't even need to have the lotus twt.. Sell it and put it towards the ribbons. Basically what npdang said.

i have the lotus on the sails,
and the excel in the kicks, so I have 2 pairs of tweeters
the excels are just lying on the floor since I havent incorporated them yet to my fiberglass kicks which houses the mids, they are really big, I can install them on the current glass kicks but they would look awkward because its really big. I'm curious on how the ribbons sound, do they really sound vastly improved over the regular tweeters, how fragile are they as I hear they are very fragile? thanks a lot

the doors by the way are for midbass alone
