(this is not politics, it's government / legislation)

The Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports Act of 2019 (RPM Act) reverses the EPA’s interpretation that the Clean Air Act does not allow a motor vehicle designed for street use—including a car, truck, or motorcycle—to be converted into a dedicated race machine. Introduced several times in the past, it's been reintroduced in both the House and Senate on December 16, 2019. It's time to get this critical motorsports-friendly legislation passed into law.

H.R.5434 - To amend the Clean Air Act to provide an exemption from certain antitampering provisions for certain actions for modifying a motor vehicle that is not legal for operation on a street or highway and is to be used solely for competition, and for other purposes.

S. 2602 - To exclude vehicles to be used solely for competition from certain provisions of the Clean Air Act, and for other purposes.

PLEASE consider voicing YOUR support of the RPM Act to your legislators using the using one of the following links:

Thanks for reading, but more important, Thanks for Acting (y) :)
