So I have the JL TR series component setup but I'm not exactly pleased with it. As of now i need to replace my rear coaxials cause they are blown (i know people say just go front stage, but with this i disagree). So with that being said, is it ok to use the midrange of the JL components and buy gooooood components?

No reason it wouldn't work. Just a matter of what signal your sending it If it'll sound good.

what do you mean by signal? I'm running a Cadence f100-5 (5 channel) and i'd just be using the speaker as a replacement to the coaxials...would be it be in my better interest to just install the entire component system in the rear?

Meaning what frequencies you send to It, coming from a processer with 'surround' info, band passed signal, letting the mid roll off naturally, etc.

I wouldn't do a tweet back there, might mess with your front stage and pull it towards the back. That's just me though... I don't like rear fill. Lol
